| I've seen people do this; mostly Marlboro smokers. I never do it. It's just a habit that probably got invented by somebody in the Navy. It's not necessary. I think it makes the smoke burn much faster. Don't know for sure |

| I buy cartons, and the nice thing is that you can pack the whole carton by banging in on a hard table or surface. It packs every pack perfectly and you dont have to worry about it anymore. All ten, packed to perfection! |

| I don't think its necessary to do that. I smoke and I don't pack my smokes and they work just fine. They probably last longer if you don't pack them. I don't have any problems with the coal falling off unexpectedly. |

| I rarely pack my smokes either. I've seen people do it. Some people do it so hard, it is loud and it looks like it would hurt your hand. I've tried it a few times. I don't see what good it does though. To me, it seems like it makes the smoke shorter and it don't last any longer by doing that. Just makes it so you gotta go to the store more often to buy smokes. |
